NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON - The Washington State Aging Mastery Program (AMP) is offering a 10-week Virtual Pilot Program beginning September 11, 2023. This is an attempt to provide the original, full AMP program to people unable to attend a live session, and specifically reach more participants in rural areas. AMP is a fun, innovative program designed to give seniors a personal playbook for aging well. Participants will learn how to improve their well being, add stability to their lives and strengthen ties to their communities. The program is offered in a group environment to foster friendships and encouragement. Topics include:
These sessions involve a Subject Matter Expert to answer specific questions from participants. There is no cost to participants. Since this is a pilot program, enrollment is limited to 20 people for the entire state of Washington. The classes will be conducted via Zoom and participants must have a computer with internet access. Sessions will be held weekly on Mondays from 2 - 3:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 11, 2023 and will conclude on Nov. 13, 2023. If you are interested in signing up for this pilot program, please contact Darrell Dickeson at [email protected]. The deadline for registration is August 7.
