Q Would I be eligible to join even if I don’t live in Wenatchee?
A Yes! While our service district is the Wenatchee Valley area, there are no geographical restrictions for membership or attendance.
Q How old must you be to attend activities at the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center?
A The minimum age to join is 18; however, to be a voting member you must be at least 50 years old.
Q How much do activities cost?
A There is a wide range of activities with varied costs and many free activities. If you are a member of the WVSAC, you get the member discount on many activities.
Q Do you have a printed newsletter or list of activities I could receive?
A Yes, we have a printed monthly newsletter that lists all of our activities. It is mailed out at the beginning of each month to all current/paid members. If you would like to stop by the Center, complimentary copies are available at the reception desk. Please note that our website is constantly updated and will have the most up to date information on activities, the lunch menu and upcoming trips.
Q I don’t drive. Is there a way for me to get to the Center?
A Yes, you can call Link Plus at (509) 662-3569 at least one day in advance to reserve a ride.
Q How do I volunteer at the WVSAC?
A Fill out the Contact Form on our website or call our office at 509-662-7036 and ask for our volunteer coordinator.
Q What about parking?
A Parking is free on the Center grounds for all Center activities. After hours parking must be pre-authorized by the Executive Director.
Q How can I become a member of the WVSAC?
A Simply fill out our online membership application or pick up a membership form at the front desk. Membership costs $50.00 for an individual membership or $75.00 for a couple. Your newsletter will be mailed to you each month and you will receive member discounts. You can also purchase a membership through the mail. Call or email to ask that a membership form be mailed to you, complete all required fields, sign it and return it with your check.
Q How much notice do I need to give for lunch reservations?
A We ask that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we have enough food prepared.
Q What happens if I sign up for a trip and it gets cancelled?
A If a trip is canceled, a check will be mailed to you within 3-4 weeks for the full amount or you can apply the credit to another trip.
