Second Chance Thrift Shop

Shop at our Second Chance Thrift Shop and help support the Senior Center. All proceeds generated by the thrift shop support operations of our senior center and activities.

We have everything you could possibly imagine:

• Books, audiobooks, videos and DVDs
• Furniture and fixtures (we do not sell beds)
• Housewares
• Electronics and appliances (all tested and working)
• Clocks and artwork
• Men's women's and kids' clothing, shoes and accessories for all seasons
• Jewelry
• Collectibles and vintage items
• ...and much MUCH more!

We pride ourselves on offering only the best quality, new and gently used items. Our staff and volunteers hand-inspect every item we receive and only those that meet our high standards are made available for sale. Items that we reject are donated to other thrift stores or service organizations, recycled or disposed of. We regularly receive compliments on the high quality of the items we sell.

Support the Senior Center

The Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center is a self-funded, nonprofit organization. Aside from grant funding for special programs, the senior center relies on fundraising to operate, and our thrift shop is by far our greatest source of revenue.

All of the proceeds from our thrift shop go directly to fund senior center operations. We rely on the community for both the amazing supply of donations we receive and loyal customers who patronize our store. 

Please note that we only accept donations on weekdays. We have limited staff on Saturdays.

Sales and Specials

The thrift shop frequently has sales for overstocked and out-of-season inventory. Check our news blog and our Facebook and Instagram accounts for the latest updates.

Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to the operation of the senior center, but especially our thrift shop. We constantly have a need for people to help us sort incoming donations, inspect and prepare items for sale and assist our sales staff. If you have a few hours a week and are looking for a fun and satisfying way to help your community, contact us about volunteering!

Entrance is behind the senior center

Donations may be dropped off at Suite D. Look for the A-board sign on the east side of the building. We are currently not accepting donations on Saturdays.

Please do not leave donations after hours. It is a security risk for our building.

Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
