by Lydia Agidius, WVSAC Program Director The Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center is thrilled to offer a specially curated trip designed just for our members and their friends—an unforgettable journey to Iceland, where dramatic landscapes, rich culture, and the breathtaking spectacle of the Northern Lights await. This exclusive adventure is open only to travelers connected with the Center, making it a unique opportunity to explore one of the world’s most stunning destinations in the company of familiar faces and new friends. This is more than a vacation; it’s a chance to experience some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes on Earth, to soak in the serenity of geothermal waters, and to search the night sky for the shimmering wonder of the northern lights.
by Russ Alman It’s not the first time Don Ricks has showed up with boxes of fruit.
Last year, Ricks brought apples and pears. Those were quickly snatched up and taken home by the members at the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center. A crew from the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department toured the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center on July 11 to become more familiar with the layout of the building in case of an emergency. The fire department inspects all commercial and multi-dwelling structures periodically so they can memorize the key areas of concern, including electrical panels, potential fire ignition locations and paths to emergency exits. Familiarity with buildings can save valuable seconds during a fire or other evacuation event.

I could easily cover one of these tools every month and fill this column for a couple of years
