TAP DANCE ANYONE?
Tracy Kentnor, owner and Director of Academy of Dance and Performing Arts, brings a new tap class to WVSAC on Tuesday mornings from 9:00am-10:00am and is open to men and women of all ages and abilities. It is sure to be fun for those who had previous experience too!
Tap dancing incorporates jazz movements with rhythmic beats "tapped" out with your feet. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Tap shoes are available at "Magic City Costumes" located in East Wenatchee. Any style tap shoe is fine, but for ladies it is suggested to have flat or low healed tap shoes.

Chair Massage
Aches? Pains? Try a chair massage. For only $10.00, you can enjoy a gentle therapeutic chair massage by a licensed massage practitioner, specially trained in using massage to enhance the health and well being of older adults. Exercise
Do you wish you could get around a little better? How's your balance? Do things hurt when you get up from your chair? Do you tire easily or have trouble remembering things ? How is your blood pressure, cholesterol, and bone density? Give Fitness for Seniors a try (3 classes a week for 10 weeks). Make an agreement to attend all the classes and see what can happen. Tai Chi for Seniors
Enjoy a relaxing hour of moving meditation. Developed in China, Taiji is a martial, meditative, and healing art. Reduce stress and gain an improved sense of structuralsensitiviy.

Water Fitness
Where: Eastmont Pool - June 1st 20 sessions in all.

The WVSAC has been partnering with the YMCA for over two years with this always poplular Water Fitness Program at the EAstmont Pool. Theses are 'shallow water classes' with certified insturctors. These classes are therapeutic, and low impact on joints. Space is very limited - so sign up at the reception Desk at the Center.
NEW! Senior YOGA

Senior yoga offers poses and stretches that can be done standing and/or with chair support. Sandy has found that many seniors do not want to get up and down from the floor. Senior YogaFit training addresses various options offered to promote focused breathing and stretching. Sandy has been a Senior YogaFit certified instructor for 4 years. Wear comfortable clothing; shoes optional.
Zumba

Zumba fuses hot Latin Rhytms with tantalizing moves to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. April and May Classes will introduce you to Zumba with Rhona's personalized routines based on dances like merengue, salsa, cumbia and reggaeton. Everyone is welcome to eperience the Zumba Party!
