Q Would I be eligible to join even if I don’t live in Wenatchee?

Yes! While our service district is the Wenatchee Valley area, there are no geographical restrictions for membership or attendance.

Q How old must you be to attend activities at the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center?

There is no age limit. However, to be a voting member you must be 50 years old.

Q How much do activities cost?
A
There is a wide range of activities with varied costs and many free activities. If you are a member of the WVSAC, you get the member discount on many activities.

Q Do you have a newsletter or list of activities I could receive?
A
Yes, we have a monthly newsletter that lists all of our activities. It is sent to each paid member, or can be purchased at the reception desk for $2.50.

Q I don’t drive. Is there a way for me to get to the Center?
A
Yes, you can call Link Plus at 662-3569 at least one day in advance for an appointment.

Q How do I volunteer at the WVSAC?
A
Call or stop by the reception desk (509-662-7036) and leave your name and phone number and our Volunteer Coordinator will call to discuss possible volunteer opportunities.

Q What about parking?
A
Parking is free on the Center grounds for all Center activities. After hour parking must be pre-authorized by the Executive Director.

Q How can I become a member of the WVSAC?
A
Simply pick up a membership form at the front desk and pay 35.00 for an individual membership or $55.00 for a couple. Your newsletter will be mailed to you each month and you will receive member discounts. You can also purchase a membership through the mail. Call or email to ask that a newsletter (the first is always complimentary) be mailed to you, fill out the membership form you will find and return it with your check.
