TRAVEL POLICY
As a part of its service for the senior citizens of the Greater Wenatchee Valley, the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center (WVSAC) sponsors and co-sponsors trips to places and events. In order to ensure the safety, well being and enjoyment of all passengers on these trips, the WVSAC has established the following travel rules and guidelines:
All trips/tours must be paid in advance.
All passengers are asked to be at the Center at least 15 minutes before departure.
The driver (and/or) hostess reserves the right to deny access or remove any passenger(s) for any reason.
Any physically or mentally challenged person(s) must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times.
The caregiver will be fully responsible for their care. * Physically or mentally challenged persons are defined as unable to fully function on their own.
All caregivers must pay full fare.
All passengers must be able to board the bus via the steps which are 18” high.
If you are dependent on a walker, you must be able to step onto the bus one foot at a time and support yourself going up.
Center members receive discounts on trips.
Non-Member guests are assessed an additional non-member fee.
Refunds are issued to all travelers in the event that the tour has been cancelled by the Sr. Activity Center.
Refunds will be issued to all travelers if the traveler cancels 48 hours or more in advance.
No refunds will be given if tickets or other services have been purchased in advance unless tickets (etc.) can be resold.
All tours board at the Sr. Activity Center, unless otherwise designated. (Park & Rides on the designated route may be an exception)
